About the Author

Eileen Lubore

Born in Oak Lawn, Illinois in 1966 and raised in Maryland, Eileen discovered her love for storytelling through journaling as a teenager — a liberating form of communication and self-discovery that would shape her life.

She earned her master's degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and writes books for both children and adults. Her stories spring from visions that appear in her heart and soul, with themes ranging from mythical to suspenseful to real-life experiences.

Eileen lives in Sarasota, Florida with her husband Scott, their youngest daughter Fionnuala, and their dog Anna Maria. They are a beautiful blended family with four grown children — Gage, Mackenzie, Lucan, and Finn — and grandchildren Kai, Silas, Aliza, and Alayna.

A Beautiful Blended Family

Eileen has been married to Scott Lubore for 11 years. Together they have built a beautiful blended family with four grown children — Gage, Mackenzie, Lucan, and Finn — and grandchildren Kai, Silas, Aliza, and Alayna.

They live in sunny Sarasota, Florida, with their youngest daughter Fionnuala and their beloved dog Anna Maria — enjoying long walks on the beach and dancing to live music together.
